What Now?

Sometimes the best thing for me is an hour alone in the car on a dark road with my favorite songs playing loudly. That’s what I got on my way home from Keene on Saturday, and again on my way home from Boston tonight. I had a minor epiphany on Saturday which lead me to make peace where for over a year there has been dischord. I didn’t have anything like an epiphany tonight, just a wondering about what the next thing will be.
I like that I can make quick trips to both Keene and Boston to see friends without having to live in either place. I have not yet developed a specific antipathy toward Leominster, so I’m glad to be here home, for now. I would, of course, much rather be on the road, hurtling through the darkness with my music, going somewhere else both body and mind.
